We are simply Christians who take the Bible alone, and preach the same message, in the same way that the apostles did in the book of Acts. We use the Bible as our guide, and reject all human creeds. We enthusiastically seek to find and imitate what the original church in the first century was like.
Since the church belongs to Christ, who now resides in Heaven, we therefore have no earthly headquarters, are not members of any convention or synod and have no organization larger then each local independent congregation. The only tie that binds all such congregations around the world together is the Bible. Each congregation is governed by a group of Elders selected from among its members. These men meet specific qualifications given in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Their task is to oversee (Acts 20:28) the congregation's spiritual needs by providing a Godly example (1 Peter 5:3) and leading as a shepherd of God's flock (1 Peter 5:2; Acts 20:28). We also have examples in the Bible of Deacons who serve the church in I Timothy 3:8-13; Philippians 1:1. Evangelists (preachers, ministers) teach and proclaim the word of God. See: Ephesians 4:11, I Timothy 4:13-16 and II Timothy 4:1-5.
We Would Love to Meet You
When you visit one of our services you will notice we only teach the Bible. Since the Bible is God's message to mankind we will waste no time on politics, crafts, entertainment, or the like. We believe there is nothing more important than coming to an understanding of this message ourselves and in helping others also come to an understanding. Therefore, we would love to sit down together with you and study the Bible together in the comfort of your home. We invite you to assemble with us at any of our services. Rest assured you will not be embarrassed but will be welcomed as an honored guest.
